For many, it's just technology in the forest - for me, it's perhaps the most exciting part of wildlife photography. <\/p>\n\n<p>The talk is about the basics: How do you set up a camera trap correctly? What does it take to get not just any picture, but a strong, aesthetic photo of a wild lynx? I explain what I pay attention to when positioning the camera and flashes, why I use light barriers - and what can go wrong (spoiler: a lot).  <\/p>\n\n<p>We also talk about technical issues that are often underestimated. Why I still rely on SLR cameras and why mirrorless models are out of the question for me in my camera trap setup - there are very practical reasons for this, which I will explain below. <\/p>\n\n<p>The podcast is also exciting for anyone who has never dealt with camera traps before. Because it's not just about technology, but also about strategy, patience and respect for the animal. <\/p>\n\n<p>I'd be delighted if you listened to it - maybe you'll be infected by the enthusiasm.
