Who I am<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Born in Middle Franconia near Ansbach, I developed a passion for nature and wildlife photography early on. At the age of six, I was already roaming through the local forests and making my first photographic attempts with my father's old Minolta. During my school years, I bred reptiles and documented their behavior on film. <\/p>\n

After graduating from high school in 2007, I spent a year on the Honduran island of Utila, where I further deepened my enthusiasm for nature photography. Back in Germany, I gained initial experience in an advertising agency with an attached photo studio and then decided to study media. <\/p>\n

During my studies, I worked as a camera assistant at Nautilusfilm and was involved in productions such as Norway, Berchtesgaden, Denmark and the Rhine. I also edited the report Wolfsmann for Bayerischer Rundfunk and increasingly specialized in elaborate time-lapse sequences. <\/p>\n

Today, I develop my own camera traps to document the shy lynx in the forests of Eastern Bavaria. Together with biologists, I have been taking unique pictures of this rare forest dweller for years. <\/p>\n

For several years, I have also been involved as a jury member in the Bavaria-wide children's and youth photography competition Im Fokus. There I accompany the winners during workshop weekends, support them in their photographic development and promote their enthusiasm for nature photography. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
