General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for Wildlife Photo Tours and Workshops

1. scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all wildlife photo tours and photography workshops offered by “Julius Kramer – Naturfotografie” (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”). They govern the contractual relationship between the organizer and the participants. Deviating conditions of the participants are not recognized unless the organizer expressly agrees to them.

2. conclusion of contract

A contract between the organizer and the participant is concluded upon acceptance of the written or electronic booking confirmation by the organizer. By making a booking, the participant accepts these GTC.

3. services

The contractually agreed services result from the respective travel or workshop description and the written confirmation of the organizer. Additional agreements require written confirmation. Changes or deviations to individual travel services are possible, provided these do not significantly affect the overall character of the trip.

4. payment

4.1. A deposit of 30% of the total price is due within 7 days of booking confirmation.

4.2. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the tour.

4.3. For bookings made at short notice (less than 30 days before departure), the total amount is due immediately.

5. withdrawal by the participant

5.1. The participant may withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the tour. The date of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal by the organizer is decisive. If the participant withdraws from the contract or does not take the trip, the organizer may demand reasonable compensation.

5.2. Cancellation fees: Up to 60 days before the start of the trip: 20% of the total price 59 to 30 days before the start of the trip: 50% of the total price 29 to 15 days before the start of the trip: 75% of the total price From 14 days before the start of the trip or in the event of no-show: 100% of the total price Cancellation and termination by the organizer The organizer may terminate the travel contract before the start of the trip if the minimum number of participants is not reached or if unforeseeable force majeure jeopardizes the execution of the trip. In this case, the participant will receive a full refund of the tour price.

6. liability

The organizer is liable within the framework of the statutory provisions for the proper execution of the trip. Liability for service disruptions beyond the Organizer’s control is excluded. Insurance The organizer recommends taking out travel cancellation, trip interruption and international health insurance. Data protection The personal data of the participants will be treated confidentially in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will not be passed on to third parties.

7. severability clause

Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

8. place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Munich.

9. final provisions

By booking, the participant agrees to these GTC. Amendments and additions must be made in writing.
